Another family commitment which kept us from our boating plans was our daughter Kimberley!
Kim has met a wonderful young man, Chris from Toronto, whom she has been in a relationship with since last year. They have made the decision to take the commitment one step further, that being Chris is taking our daughter away from us and the Okanagan; all the way to Toronto.
Kimberley will be keeping her job with CIBC as she received a promotion and transfer to a branch in Toronto.
Kim was moving out of her basement suite in Kelowna and flying to Toronto on the 16th of June. So, she asked if we could be home for the week to help her and see her off! So, more time spent with family and less time on MV Kozad!
Chris came out and we all helped pack, move and get things organized for the big move! It was hard to see her go but once we had the time to get to know Chris we are pleased with their decision to take the relationship to the next level.
